About us
The Bexar County Family Justice Center assists victims of domestic violence in their journey from survivor to thriver.
In furtherance of that mission, the Family Justice Center has established a number of programs designed to help meet the psychological, physical, educational and financial needs of their clients. However, assisting those afflicted with domestic violence goes beyond servicing their immediate needs. The cycle of violence dictates that domestic violence is carried on to the next generation. The parents of children growing up with the reality of domestic violence desire their children to live violence-free throughout their lives.
By establishing RELATE RIGHT SA, a program aimed at prevention through education, the cycle of violence can be broken. School-aged children from a variety of family backgrounds and experiences learn that domestic violence is unhealthy and should not be tolerated. These same children learn that all forms of relationship abuse are unacceptable, and that healthy relationships can and should be pursued.
In this manner, the Bexar County Family Justice Center assists those victimized today as well as those who would otherwise be victimized in the future. The cycle of violence is broken, and a future of hope and peace emerges.
As a nonprofit organization, Relate Right SA would like to acknowledge the following foundations who provide our program with the necessary funds to function and impact the lives of the San Antonio community: Verizon Foundation, Plastic Reconstructive Microsurgical Associates (PRMA), Lo Bello de San Antonio, Bexar Country Family Justice Center Foundation, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
